This is required for subsequent installation of fasteners. We install the Christmas tree in the hole, under which we place a bucket of water. To hold it tighter, we reinforce it with fasteners.

If putting the tree in water is not your plan, then you can build a simpler stand. It can be easily made by crossing two boards. This type of stand is called a “cross”. You need to make a hole in the middle where the Christmas tree will be inserted. Don't forget to fix the tree.

The pipe must be welded to a metal plate. This plate will act as a base. All edges of the plate are rounded to avoid accidental cuts.
