How to disassemble a TV and replace a cracked screen:

  1. Disconnect from power.
  2. Remove all external cables.
  3. Place the TV on a soft, flat surface.
  4. Locate the frame screws to remove the cracked screen.
  5. Remove the screws.
  6. Remove the frame around the cracked screen.
  7. Remove the internal cables running from the frame to the cracked panel. Label internal cables if you need to connect them together.
  8. Remove the cracked screen.
  9. Insert the new replacement panel into the TV and connect the internal cables.
  10. Turn it on.
