Can I update the software myself?
You can update the software on your TV or Android yourself without contacting a specialist. To do this you need: to spend a little of your time, a USB drive or Internet access on TV.
All newly released updates can be found on the manufacturer’s official website. Then you need to determine the existing firmware version and compare it with the version number on your model. If the versions are the same, then the device does not need to be updated.
There are two ways to update the software version on your TV.
- Via the Internet on TV;
- Using downloaded software from the manufacturer's official website.
For the first method, you will need to have and support an Internet connection. Depending on the model, you can use a local wired network using a TV router. It is also possible to install via Wi-Fi, but in this case the TV must support this type of connection.
In the case of the second method, you must have a USB drive with a capacity of more than 4 GB, and it must also support the FAT32 file system. In addition to the drive, there must be a computer with Internet access to search for and download updates.

The second installation method is the safest compared to the first, but takes longer to complete.

Update via the Internet. When updating software via the Internet on a TV, be sure to pay attention to the speed and quality of data transfer, and also determine the firmware version. In automatic mode, proceed as follows:
- Go to the TV settings;
- Find and select “Software Update” in the “Support” section;
- After which the message “Update now” should appear;
- There will be an automatic search for newer software;
- After completing the search, you must confirm the installation;
- The installation process will begin;
- Once the update is complete, the TV must be rebooted.
The next time you start the TV, it will function with the new software.
Update via USB. The first thing you need to do is go to the manufacturer’s website and download the software file to your computer. When choosing software, pay attention to the language, because... it may make installation difficult.The USB drive must then be formatted with the FAT32 file system. Copy the downloaded file from your computer to the drive.
