Five reasons to choose eco-style for your bedroom interior

It may turn out that there are not five reasons, but many more, but for myself personally, I noted the following advantages:

  1. Natural materials. Wooden furniture and beds are good for sleep and health.
  2. Strength. Products made from wood last a long time and are reliable.
  3. Beauty. Eco-friendly interior details look natural and elegant in the setting. What could be more beautiful than something created by nature and modified by a skilled craftsman?
  4. Microclimate in the bedroom. Ecologically clean interior items help create a favorable environment in your home.
  5. Contribution to the protection of nature. When producing eco-furniture, fewer harmful emissions are released into the environment. Household items made from natural raw materials can be recycled relatively harmlessly, unlike plastic.

What is ecostyle: history of origin

Interior2

In a general sense, the concept means interior design using environmentally friendly materials. It became popular at the end of the 20th century in response to the increasing process of urbanization and the movement of people into an initially alien environment.

Residents of megacities realized the negative impact of a polluted environment and tried to recreate clean natural places in their apartments. The Japanese are considered the founders. It is in Japan that people prefer natural fabrics and materials: cotton, bamboo, wood, natural rubber.

Thanks to careful use of natural resources and proper nutrition, the Japanese are long-living leaders, and retain (to a large extent) clarity of mind and slim figure into old age.

Well, now let’s sort it out piece by piece, what’s what. Let's start with what comes into play from materials:

  • Fabrics made from natural fibers (bedspreads, bed linen, rugs).
  • Wood (bed, bedside tables, tables, cabinets, book stands).
  • Clay (vases, flower pots, figurines).
  • Stone (room cladding, decorative finishing).
  • Glass (windows, mirrors, chandeliers and lamps, decorative items).

Color palette

Choosing the right color will not be difficult: nature itself will suggest the right shades. Natural tones close to natural colors are suitable. Water, soil, grass and other colors that exist in nature will fit perfectly into the interior:

  • yellow;
  • blue;
  • green;
  • beige;
  • brown.

As you can see, you don’t even need to invent anything special - we take it ready-made.

Such products are most often covered acrylic stains and varnish, since these materials are the least toxic. They even use water as a solvent.

Craftsmen often finish ceilings and walls clapboard made of wood and decorated with wooden beams. Wallpaper is usually made from paper. They prefer images of nature: coniferous forest, waterfall, sky with clouds, mountains. Photo wallpapers are often used.

Welcome homemade lamps sconces made of woolen threads, wood branches or fabrics. Properly selected lighting will fill the room with comfort and set the body at ease.

Plants

The design suits people who love nature. For example, a brilliant Finnish architect named Alvar Aalto designed houses that trees grew through the roofs. The use of vegetation in any form is encouraged.

Houseplants saturate the air with oxygen indoors, will enliven the interior and have a positive effect on the emotional state. They will also have a beneficial effect on the organs of vision and the cardiovascular system.

And, whatever one may say, you need to rest well and a lot, without waiting for fatigue to set in, which is what I sincerely wish for you.
