What is the difference between the Tornado cultivator and Tornadik?

People involved in gardening know how important it is to choose the right tool to get a good harvest. When choosing a cultivator, you come across two names - “Tornado” and “Tornadika”. Their similarity makes you wonder how these devices differ and which one is better to buy for your own garden.

Cultivator Tornado and Tornadica: what is the difference?

We hasten to reassure the owners of adjacent plots: both devices perform the same functions and differ little from each other. The price of the devices is also almost the same.

The reason for the confusion lies in the entry of the main manufacturer into the world market. To do this, they decided to change the name of the product to a more harmonious one.

Otherwise, the quality and functionality of the products remains the same and will not change in any way depending on the name. At the same time, products with the old name remained on the domestic market and new batches with a changed name were released. This led to a comparison of models.

Note that with the passage of time and the popularity of the device, counterfeits and products from other manufacturers began to appear, bearing the same name. Their quality is somewhat worse, the design is insignificantly different. Gardeners note that the usual Tornados are much more convenient and stronger.

Advantages of the cultivator

The main advantage of this form of the unit is its ergonomics. The gardener works as usual, but the device at this moment evenly distributes the load on all muscle groups and the spine. As a result, fatigue is much less than when working with a shovel.

The weight of the cultivator is small - about two kilograms. This also greatly alleviates the operator's difficulties. The design is simple and collapsible. During the season, you can store it assembled: it will not take up much space. In winter, it is disassembled into three separate parts, which makes it easier to store and transport.

No electrical connection required. The work is carried out solely at the expense of the owner’s physical strength. In addition, the processing is more thorough than done with a shovel. However, the cultivator is only capable of loosening previously plowed soil, without large weeds.

Tornado

The cultivator is not intended for processing virgin soil.

When working with cultivator use caution. Be sure to wear closed shoes to avoid damaging your feet. When assembling and disassembling the device, rest the sharp part on the ground to prevent injury.
