Cleaning properties of glue
As mentioned above, you will need regular glue for cleaning. Many people wonder how such a product can help solve the problem of heavy soiling on dishes. To understand, it is worth paying attention to its properties.
The composition of the product is a polymer chemical compound that resembles glass in appearance. Chemists call it silicate glue or liquid glass.
The glue contains a whole complex of substances, among which are potassium, sodium, lithium and silicate compounds.
Due to the presence of active mineral ions, when interacting with water, a strong alkaline environment is created, which enhances the cleansing effect when washing cutlery. However, this makes the product dangerous for human skin, so it is worth using personal protection when working.
To enhance the reaction, you can add detergents - when they interact, the effect will be more noticeable, and the process of removing contaminants will take less time.
It is thanks to these qualities that glue can be used to clean kitchen appliances.
Attention! This method is absolutely harmless to pots, pans, plates, and perfectly cleans their surface. Moreover, the product can be purchased at an affordable price.

If you are lucky enough to find a tube of old glue, you can begin the cleaning process. If not, just go to the nearest household goods store and buy it. The price of glue is much lower than the cost of modern cleaning products. It is also worth purchasing soda ash or regular soda. After purchasing the products and appropriately preparing the workplace, you can begin washing. To do this you will have to perform the following manipulations:

- Add glue - approximately 400-500 ml and 500 g of soda.
- Stir the resulting mixture and distribute it evenly throughout the entire volume of warm water. If performed correctly, white precipitates should form in the form of flakes, this signals the start of the reaction.
- Leave the devices in the composition for 30 minutes to an hour.
- Rinse everything under warm running water, additionally wiping the surface with a sponge or brush. Dirt should come off the surface easily. If necessary, you can repeat the procedure.
Another effective method is boiling:
- Place dirty pots and pans in a large container that can be placed over an open flame.
- Pour water and add 100 g of glue and soda.
- Boil the water for 5–10 minutes.
- Wash remaining areas with visible dirt under running water.
Attention! You can replace office glue with PVA, and instead of special soda ash, you can take regular soda, which is available in every home.

The cleaning method using glue is not suitable for cookware with a non-stick coating, since it is damaged when exposed to an alkaline environment. The plastic parts of the cookware should be unscrewed before cleaning.
Work should be performed with rubber gloves for safety.
Shiny finishes will fade when using baking soda, so it is not recommended to wash them using this method.
