It is also permissible to use the following means and products:
- Lemon or green apples. Using a grater or blender, grind the fruit into a paste. Wrap it in a cloth, rub the stain and leave for 40 minutes. Then scrub the pan with a sponge and rinse with clean water.
- Lemon acid.Pour enough water into the affected dish so that the liquid hides the carbon deposits. Add a couple of tablespoons of the product. Simmer for 15 minutes and peel.
- Silicate glue. In a suitable container, prepare a solution of 10 liters of water, 100 grams of silicate glue and 100 grams of soda ash. Bring the mixture to a boil and place the pan in it. Boil it for 30 minutes.
How to clean stainless steel cookware
A stainless steel pan is the most suitable option for preparing food for the winter. This is especially true for making jam. And it is easiest to clean it from carbon deposits, since this material is not afraid of rough influence. Naturally, you shouldn’t be too zealous with it. As aids you can use:
- food salt and soda;
- table vinegar;
- citric acid;
- activated carbon: crush into powder and cover the area to be cleaned in a thick layer, leave for 30 minutes, add water and wash as usual;
- coffee grounds.
After using any of these products, you should clean the pan with steel wool.
