The procedure itself looks like this:
- The water must be preheated and a few drops of liquid detergent added to it.
- Place kitchen utensils that need to be cleaned into it.Cookware made of cast iron and aluminum must be preheated to a temperature of 200 degrees. Under the influence of temperature, the main deposit will burn out.
- Using a knife, scrape off all the fat. Residues are removed with a metal sponge.
Another mechanical cleaning method is to use a special attachment on a drill. It must be installed on the instrument and the bottom and walls of the pan must be carefully processed. This option is the easiest and fastest way to remove residual fat.

Folk remedies for cleaning old grease inside and outside dishes
Not all kitchen utensils can be cleaned with chemicals. For example, porcelain or ceramics do not withstand the effects of aggressive chemicals. Mechanical cleaning is also not suitable for them.
In this case, you should use folk remedies - they are more gentle and suitable for all types of dishes.
Citric acid and soda
- Mix citric acid and soda in a one to one ratio.
- Wet the dishes thoroughly with boiling water.
- Apply the prepared mixture of soda and citric acid evenly to the inner and outer surfaces of kitchen utensils. Leave for one hour. If necessary, you can add a little water to get a mushy consistency - this will help the composition stick. A chemical reaction will occur between the composition and the fat, and after an hour the plaque will dissolve and come off.
- After the specified time, the dishes must be doused with boiling water and cleaned with a sponge and liquid detergent.
If necessary, the entire procedure should be repeated.
Salt and soda
This is the most inexpensive cleaning option, since the indicated ingredients are available in any kitchen:
- Soda and salt must be mixed in a one to one ratio and diluted with water to a pasty consistency.
- First rinse the dishes with hot water and apply the resulting mixture to the entire surface. To enhance the effect of the composition, you can additionally wrap the dishes with cling film.
- Leave for one hour.
- After this time, the mixture must be washed off with boiling water. The inner surface of kitchen utensils should be wiped with a soft cloth, and the outer surface with a metal sponge.
If necessary, repeat the procedure until the desired result is obtained.
PVA glue and laundry soap
For this method you will need a bucket or basin in which you need to put the kitchen utensils to be cleaned:
- Pour water into the prepared container and bring it to a boil.
- Add PVA glue to hot water and stir until completely dissolved.
- Grate the laundry soap and then pour it into a solution of water and glue.
- Mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained.
- Place the pan in the solution and leave on the fire for 2-3 hours. The water should not boil.
- If the contamination is strong, the boiling time should be increased.
- When the specified time has passed, the kitchen utensils should be removed and thoroughly washed with a sponge and detergent. Then rinse under running water.
Soda
Baking soda is a universal cleaning agent that can cope with even the most difficult to remove stains.. When using this method you will need a basin or bucket:
- You need to pour water into the container and place it on the stove.
- When the water starts to boil, you need to add soda to it in the proportion of 70 g of soda per liter of liquid.
- Place the pan in the resulting solution and leave there for 1.5-2 hours.
- After the time has passed, the container must be removed from the heat. There is no need to remove kitchen utensils right away - leave them in the solution until it cools completely.
- When the composition has cooled, the pan can be removed and rinsed thoroughly under running water.
Preventing the appearance of greasy marks on the pan
The best way to prevent the formation of fatty deposits is timely and careful care of kitchen utensils. It is necessary to wash dishes immediately after eating or finishing cooking. A hood above the stove can also prevent the formation of plaque. However, even if you have a high-quality hood, you should not store pots near the food preparation area.
