How to prepare floors

IMPORTANT! First of all, a set of measures is carried out to prepare the surface of the floor covering.

Proper floor preparation will ensure excellent results.

It includes such operations.

• Removing varnish or oil by sanding the floor. If necessary, first replace individual dies and level the surface of the floor covering.
• Grinding.
• Dry and wet cleaning of the coating surface to perfect condition.

IMPORTANT! Further work is carried out only after the floor has completely dried.

How to choose a color

The choice of color and shade of floor tinting should be done in harmony with the interior style chosen for the room. This will set a certain mood.

Modern manufacturers offer a choice of ready-made colored varnishes. It is also possible to use clear varnishes, color thinners and tinting compounds to achieve the desired shades of different colors.

The varnish does not penetrate deep into the wood fibers. If you want to change the color, just sand the floor before removing the varnish layer and cover the surface with a new color.

Oils

Oil tinting allows for deep absorption of the tinting composition into the wood fibers. The result of this is a deeper color of the parquet.

The procedure is performed in two stages. First, colored oil is applied to the surface of the immaculately prepared floor.

To give a deeper color, the coating with colored oil is performed twice. After this, the color is fixed with colorless oil.

The use of special imported equipment intended for these purposes allows us to obtain the highest quality coating and reduce the time required to complete the work.

Stain coating

Three layers of coating are performed. The drying period for each of the first two layers is three days.The latter should dry for a week. After this, the surface is washed and 2 layers of varnish are applied.
