If you apply paint without preliminary preparation, it will not adhere to the surface and will wear off very quickly.

It is also worth understanding that when removing the top layer from the lamellas, they will lose their properties and will allow moisture to pass through, so you will have to apply a special varnish with a lamination effect to the surface.
