For edging with threads, first trim the side using scissors.You can also give the object any shape: circle, oval, flower, and so on. Then sew the edge with your chosen material using a loop stitch. You can also use the crossed stitch option.

In order to cover the cut side with fabric, you need to cut it into strips. Next, carefully wrap the edge of the carpet with a strip and stitch through it.

• Take any source of open fire: matches, lighter or candle, and scorch the cut. This method is suitable for synthetic products. The fire will melt the fiber and solder the cut strands together. After this they will not crumble;
• For carpets with a high coverage or made from natural materials, adhesives can be used. For example, lubricate the piece with PVA or transparent gel, which is sold in fabric stores and is used to fix the decor on the fabric.
