Rules for caring for carpet at home

With proper use, the product will last for many years. There are some rules that will help maintain such coverage for as long as possible:

1. You should place a mat at the entrance to the room (it will help remove dust from your shoes).
2. The product should be vacuumed once every 1-2 weeks.
3. Wet cleaning should be done once a month.
4. If a stain appears on the material, it should be removed immediately (while it is fresh). Once it dries, it will become more difficult to get rid of.

Cleaning with a vacuum cleaner

Wet cleaning

Wet cleaning is more effective, but can damage the base of the product. Detergents are used for washing. There are several nuances to wet carpet cleaning:

For greasy stains, a solvent is suitable. We apply it to a rag and simply place it on the damaged area. Rubbing the surface is prohibited. We remove the remaining dirt and solution with a rag soaked in soapy water. Therefore, we wash off the soap with water and dry the coating.

Attention! Common stains (such as tea) can be removed with a soap-based solution. And if it is necessary to remove wine, coffee or juice stains, vinegar is used.

There are cleaning methods that will help not only remove unpleasant odors, but also give the coating freshness:

1. Powder cleaning. It can be either dry or wet. The powder has a pleasant smell, and its active elements will help get rid of the unpleasant.
2. Detergents. Only wet cleaning is provided here. The characteristics of detergents are very similar to powders.
3. Soap solution. It is considered the best way because it does not damage the base of the material.
4. Soda. Does not give the carpet a fresh smell, but can eliminate unpleasant odors.

Rules for drying carpet

After cleaning, the coating must be dried. If this is not done, there is a risk of mold and bacteria. The carpet will develop an unpleasant odor. You can dry the carpet as follows:

2. Using a fan.
3. On the street.
