Most of the working material can be purchased at a hardware store. Acid is sold in reagent stores.

  • Carefully pour hydrochloric acid into the jar through a funnel. Spray the mirror surface with an aerosol.
  • Finish the edges intensively for added drama.
  • Use a dry cloth to remove excess substance. Wipe the mirror surface with a damp towel.
    On top we cover the edges of the product with colored paint.
  • After the paint has dried, you can safely insert the vintage mirror into the frame.
