You don’t have to buy it in a store; you can make an original thing with your own hands from scrap materials that will become a real decoration for the hall.

Materials and tools:

• a panel with perforations of the required size - it can be metal or plastic, it can be purchased at any hardware store;
• scissors;
• hooks for clothes;
• fasteners;
• knitting threads of different colors.

Process execution algorithm:

1. Cut the perforated element to the required size.
2. Embroider the desired decor on it with threads.
3. Thread the hooks through the finished holes and secure them on the back side.
4. Using dowel nails, secure the hanger to the wall - the holes for the fasteners will be those already prepared in the panel.

From copper pipe

An excellent option for lovers of original headdresses and hats, which are very difficult to place on classic hangers - they take up a lot of space. In addition, it will be a great taming room - simple and original.

You need to prepare:

• a piece of copper pipe of the required diameter and length;
• scissors;
• rope;
• clothespins.

The manufacturing instructions are as follows:

1. Pass a rope of the required length through the copper pipe - it will serve as the basis for hanging the element.
2. For hats on the pipe, arrange several rope elements of different lengths and unequal intervals, but so that the hats fit freely.
3. Attach the hanger to the wall or ceiling. Place several clothes hangers on the pipe, and clothespins on the ropes, which will later hold the hats by the brim.

Manufacturing requires a minimum of material and only 30 minutes of time, but this piece of furniture looks very impressive.

Made of wood

This is a classic option for making hangers, but this does not mean that the product will turn out boring and unoriginal - use your imagination, and you can surprise your friends with a creative approach.

Materials for making an item from a regular board:

• a piece of board of the required size;
• hooks for clothes;
• paint or stain;
• brushes or roller;
• jigsaw;
• drill with drills;
• sandpaper;
• tape measure and pencil.

Algorithm of actions:

1. Prepare the board by cleaning it from dust and dirt, if any. Saw off the desired section. If the board is not planed, then you need to sand it to a perfectly smooth state using sandpaper. Treat the surface of the board with an antiseptic compound.
2. Mark the surface. Using a pencil and tape measure, mark the marks for the hooks - they should be at the same distance from each other. Hooks can be arranged in one line or in a checkerboard pattern.
3. Using a drill with a drill of the required diameter, drill holes.

5. As soon as the board dries well, hooks are installed on it, securing them on the back side.

From pallets

If you have an old pallet at home, you can easily make an original hanger from it, horizontal or vertical. To do this, the pallet must be disassembled into separate elements, which are cleaned of dust and dirt and treated with sandpaper to a perfectly smooth surface.

There are several options for attaching individual elements to each other, but we will consider the simplest and most affordable one.

Take two pallets that will serve as a fastening base on the back side of the product. Apply markings on them, to do this, lay the pallets perpendicular to the elements and outline them with a simple pencil - the distance between them should be the same:

1. On the top of each element, arrange holes for hooks and secure them to the pallets.
2. Using wood screws of optimal length, screw separate planks onto the 2 main elements, at the same distance from each other.
3. Decorate the surface of the hanger with stain or paint.
4. Attach the finished product to the wall - the pallet hanger is ready.

Decorating a hanger

Surface decoration is a creative and exciting process. At the moment, there are a lot of options to make home-made interior items spectacular and unusual, for example:

• paint in a variety of shades;
• cover with craquelure or glaze;
• paint it yourself with artistic paints;
