What materials can be used

These materials are well resistant to temperature and moisture changes. But if you use tiles made from wood chips, it is necessary to insulate the balcony, since high moisture can negatively affect finished furniture. Note. If you choose laminated particleboard tiles, the bedside table will look like regular apartment furniture. Plastic products are lightweight, and products based on lining are distinguished by their efficiency. All of these materials are easy to process, are strong and durable, and can be easily shaped into the desired shape. So the main thing when choosing a material will be how it will look against the background of the balcony.

Beginning of work

Work always begins with drawing up a project plan, calculating the amount of material needed, and purchasing them. If you choose particleboard, you will need sheets of material of a certain size, end tape, hinges, fasteners and supports. And we will need the following tools:

1. Painting knife.
2. Screwdriver.
3. Drill and necessary set of drills.
4. A pencil to be used for marking.

Manufacturing process

Step-by-step process for making a bedside table:

1. First you need to make a stiffening box. For this you need timber with a section of 40x40. The frame needs to be strengthened both on the floor and on the walls of the balcony. For this purpose, strong metal corners are used.
2. A lid is installed on the box. It's okay if it protrudes beyond the box. In order to strengthen the lid, you will need corners that are placed inside.
3. Now you can install the shelves. We choose as many as we need.
4. The door is installed.
5. The joints are hidden using decoration elements.

Assembling the cabinet is quite simple, and the result is high-quality furniture that makes excellent use of unnecessary space on the balcony.
