If you know how to sew and have a sewing machine, making a chair cover will not be difficult for you. The main thing is to choose the right fabric and filling material.

Depending on your imagination, decorative details (buttons, ribbons, braid, etc.) can be used to make such a cover.

Before sewing, it is necessary to make a special pattern that follows the shape and dimensions of the chair seat. It is desirable that it be made of a fairly dense material, such as cardboard.

Next, using this blank, you should cut out two parts from fabric, and another from soft filler. When cutting out parts, you should set aside an additional 1–2 cm on each side for seam allowances.

The fabric parts are folded face to face and sewn on three sides. Next, the product is turned inside out and a piece of filler is placed inside. After this, carefully sew up the fourth side of the cover. If desired, you can sew bias tape on all sides of the cover.
