  1. Furniture board. The size of the part is 60 cm by 160 cm. These are optional dimensions, you can choose them to suit your room.
  2. Beam. Used to add rigidity to the structure. 4 by 4 centimeters will do. If the tabletop is large, then it is better to take a thicker one. The length of the beam in our case is 440 cm.
  3. Varnish, paint. To give a better appearance to the product.
  4. Iron legs – 4 pieces.
  5. Screw nuts, self-tapping screws. These parts will hold the structure together.

Once everything you need is conveniently located in the workshop, it’s time to start:

  1. Cut out the table top. First you need to measure the required length and width and draw a cutting line. Afterwards, carefully and slowly cut the wood with a saw or jigsaw.
  2. We prepare the timber. You need to cut it into 4 parts, 2 along the length and 2 across the width of the tabletop. Cut a 45 degree angle along the edges of the timber. If you have a miter box, good; if you don’t have one, you’ll have to use a protractor.
  3. We screw the beam with self-tapping screws. To do this, you need to place it along the edges of the tabletop so that the cut corners meet. Then drill holes for the screws and secure the parts.The timber will not only give a better look to the table, but will also make it stronger.
  4. We screw in the nuts where the legs are installed. First we drill holes for them, then screw them in using a wrench.
  5. We attach the legs to the previously screwed in screws.
  6. Sand with sandpaper or a grinder. The product needs to be sanded well. First with coarse paper, then with fine-grained paper.
  7. We cover the table with varnish. For a better appearance, it is advisable to process at least 2 times.
  8. We wait for the varnish to dry. The furniture board table is ready.

Making such a table will not take much time and money. Having spent very little effort, you will receive a high-quality and beautiful piece of furniture that will take its place in the house for a long time.
