If you don’t like standard solutions, we suggest making a coffee table with your own hands. Thus, your home will have stylish and functional furniture that no one else will have. We use wooden Euro pallets

First of all, you need to decide on the shape, size and design of the future product. Modern manufacturers offer a huge range of such products, so you don’t have to invent anything. You can see photos and designs of the models below.

When you have decided on the design, you can proceed to creating a drawing. It will be the basis. You can use a ready-made drawing or, if you have your own personal ideas and ideas, you can draw the drawing yourself. This way you will make furniture that fits perfectly into the interior of your room.

You will need a very standard set of tools, which should include jigsaws and a screwdriver. The materials you will need are pallets, paint or varnish, 4 wheels, glass.

• Having decided to make a wooden table from pallets, you must first clean and sand them.

IMPORTANT. It is imperative to remove all existing burrs.

• Next, you will need to varnish the base or paint it in the desired color. Please note that the pallet must be painted on all sides, even in places where it would seem invisible.
• If you wish, you can apply some kind of ornament or design. When the pallet is painted and dry, all that remains is to attach furniture wheels of the required size. These are 4 wheels that are attached to the corners of the pallet with screws.

That, in fact, is the whole process of making a coffee table. Next, you need to dream up the design. Cover the top of the table with a sheet of glass.

We combine wood and glass

This option is also quite simple. It combines wood and glass elements.

It is unlikely that you will be able to purchase a log in any store, so you will have to go to a sawmill or to the forest and choose a suitable log.

IMPORTANT. The wood must be of decent quality, free from pests and mold.

Having prepared all the necessary materials and tools, you can proceed to work on assembling the structure. If you follow the given algorithm, you will certainly succeed and very soon you will be able to enjoy the result of your work.

1. Cut the log to the height you need.
2. When the log is prepared to size, it must be sanded.
3. Cover the surface with varnish or stain, it can also be paint in the shade you like.
4. When the varnish or paint has dried to the log, you need to attach a glass tabletop. To do this, use special suction cups or liquid nails.

Such a table can fit into many interiors and will resemble a mushroom with a transparent cap.

We use glass

In this case, we are talking about a design that is made with a glass tabletop and legs made of any material. It can be absolutely anything, anything that catches your fancy.

NOTE. For the tabletop, you must use special glass; it is highly durable. Its edges must be processed to eliminate the possibility of injury.

To attach the legs, you can use suction cups or liquid nails. Here you can dream up because there are a huge number of options. To make the product look great, select appropriate materials.

NOTE. Glass tabletops are many times heavier than wooden ones, so the support must be strong and strong.

Unconventional ideas

In addition to the options described, you can come up with a huge number of interesting solutions.

1. This could be a table made entirely of logs, a very interesting option.
2. A properly processed and decorated old suitcase will fit perfectly into the interior of the room.
3. Regular boards. Yes, exactly boards, but only processed ones. They should be free of mold and pests. By adding four iron legs to 15 boards, you can make an unusual design.
4. Cast iron battery. By placing it on a sheet of chipboard and attaching wheels, you can build a very fancy structure. Cover the top of the battery with a glass tabletop.
5. Wooden cuts connected to each other can become a unique coffee table, which will be an interior decoration and a functional element.
