A small magnet and a metal strip are the parts that make up the latch. In order to return it to functionality, first of all, you need to use a screwdriver to loosen the two screws that hold the magnet, and then move it a little forward.

After this, tighten the screws using the same screwdriver and check the result. If everything works, then you have successfully completed the adjustment, otherwise you will have to buy a new kit and install it.

The latch on the furniture door is changed only if one of the parts of this design is not functional: the bar does not move or does not attract the magnet.
