Assembling a vertical shelf: step-by-step instructions

In order to assemble a vertical shelf you need to do the following:

1. You need to start with the basics. First of all, you need to mount the wheels to the bottom. We will need 4 wheels. You can choose both rotating and non-rotating options. It all depends on where the shelf will be placed. The wheels should be at the edges to make the structure stable.
2. Now you need to install the walls. If you choose the option with wheels, you need to fix them so that they do not move during operation. First we make the back wall, and then the sides. We drill grooves for the shelves in them.
3. Now you need shelves. Their number depends on the size of the structure. They can be installed using nails or nuts. Alternatively, you can install 2 small wooden beams on the walls of the shelf and use them as a shelf holder. Then you can pull them out.
4. You can store rags directly on the shelves, or make drawers for them. If you choose the option without drawers, you need to make a door to prevent dust from getting inside.
5. Using construction adhesive, secure all fasteners and connections.
6. Now you need to paint the cabinet and cover it with varnish or primer.
