Materials:

• sandpaper or solvent;
• roulette;
• pencil;
• scissors;
• rubber roller.

The surface of the headset must be thoroughly cleaned of dirt, grease stains and deposits. Sandpaper is suitable for wooden surfaces, and solvent is suitable for plastic surfaces. Using a tape measure, we measure the dimensions of the cabinets and doors on which the film will be glued. We put marks on the wrong side of the material. For additional convenience, it depicts squares measuring 1*1. Cut using scissors or a stationery knife.

IMPORTANT! When making marks, leave about a centimeter for allowance.

Now you can start gluing the cleaned surfaces. It is recommended to stick the film from bottom to top, gradually removing the backing paper layer. This will help avoid the appearance of air bubbles, which are very difficult to get rid of. At the end of the process, further smooth the film with a rubber roller. The decorating process is finished.

Kitchen decor using chalk paint

Paint, like film, will help completely change the interior of a kitchen unit. It is recommended to use chalk paint, as it lies smoothly on the surface and has a much longer service life.

Tools:

• special primer for chalk paints;
• acrylic varnish (moisture resistant);
• dye;
• brushes;
• sandpaper or solvent.

All treated surfaces are cleaned using sandpaper or degreaser. The fittings should be removed. After cleaning, apply primer in 2 layers.

ATTENTION! The second layer should be applied only after the first has completely dried.

When the primer has dried, you can begin painting. The material should be applied in several layers (at least 2-3), after the previous one has completely dried. The final stage is varnishing. Using a brush, apply a thin layer of varnish to the painted surface. It is recommended to use a minimum of 3 layers. Drying time is about a day. The kitchen set is ready.

DIY decoupage

With the help of decoupage you can not only update the appearance of the kitchen, but also hide minor damage to the furniture: chips, scratches, cracks. Decoupage is very popular when decorating the interior of a home, as it allows you to emphasize the preferences of the owner.

Materials:

• degreaser or sandpaper;
• napkins or cards for decoupage (many people use fabric with a bright pattern);
• glue;
• scissors;
• thin brushes;
• acrylic lacquer.

As in the methods described above, all surfaces are cleaned of dirt. Using scissors, we cut out designs for decoration. Using a thin brush, coat the underside with glue and apply it to the surface of the drawer or door.

ATTENTION! It is recommended to use brushes made of squirrel material.

Carefully smooth the drawings onto the plane. Excess glue can be removed with a damp cloth or soft foam sponge. After the glue has completely dried, acrylic varnish is applied to the drawers in 2-3 layers.

On the board you need to mark holes for holes located at the edges at the same distance from each other (make sure that the distance between them is slightly less than a standard bottle of wine).
