His Royal Highness also demands that the bathroom stopper be in the same position at all times, and that when he goes to wash his face, there should already be toothpaste on his toothbrush. But not just any paste, but exactly a 1-inch piece. It’s probably not worth saying that the temperature of the water in the bath should be within certain limits.

And again Prince Charles. In general, he is the main weirdo in the royal family (in the good sense of the word).

The prince changes clothes five times a day. Although it is likely that this is required by royal protocol (but this is not certain).When he arrives in the room, the service staff is already waiting for him, whose duty is to give Charles clothes. However, this is not his biggest quirk.

According to a no-longer butler who contributed to the documentary Serving Kings: The Underbelly, the prince takes hygiene so seriously that he carries his own personal toilet seat with him everywhere he goes. True, the family itself categorically denied this.

Worn shoes

Queen Elizabeth II has a special person in her service. Apart from the fact that they have the same shoe size, they have nothing in common. It is he who breaks in any new pair of shoes for Her Majesty so that they do not rub the royal feet. However, Elizabeth II still spends a lot of time on her feet, participating in all sorts of events and social events, so uncomfortable shoes would be completely inappropriate.

Naturally, Buckingham Palace is constantly ventilated, and this oddity only affects some of the windows. The reason for this is very simple: the building must have an impeccable appearance, especially from the facade, and open windows can ruin the entire aesthetics. They are only allowed to open at certain times.

Any outfit of Her Highness is numbered. Moreover, it is even registered in a special journal, which will indicate exactly where, when and where Elizabeth II wore it. This is done for a simple reason: so that a woman does not show up to some event in the same suit or dress.

A fancy hat and a small handbag are the main accessories without which you can’t imagine the Queen of England.And while the first detail is purely aesthetic in nature, with the help of the second the queen also gives certain signs.

There are rumors that no money, wallet or mobile phone can be found in the woman’s bag. But there is always lipstick, reading glasses, mints, a fountain pen and... a small hook. It turns out that it is needed to attach the bag to the table and hang it on it. And then the servants can only observe: the bag on the hook - the queen is happy with everything, on the floor - it’s time for everyone to leave, because Her Majesty has become a little bored.

Attitude towards gifts

During grandiose events and meetings, royal persons are required to accept various gifts and presents, but in the future they are prohibited from using this in public.

It’s true what they say: “The rich have their own quirks!” Whether this is a whim or a requirement of royal protocol is not entirely clear. Really, who cares how many times Prince Charles showers or how the Queen wears her shoes. We can only wonder.
