- The relief simply somehow magically collects all the dirt. It seems that dust and plaque are just waiting for you to lay the tiles to firmly settle in all these depressions and depressions. In fact, it is pollution that causes even the highest quality tiles to lose their shine over time, turn yellow, darken, shades fade, and the coating becomes not very attractive.
- Material with a pronounced texture (and even more so with roughness) is, to put it mildly, very difficult to wash. To clean a square meter of such coating, you will have to spend twice as much time compared to smooth options. And if it is also a natural stone, then you will have to additionally select special cleaning products, and they are not that cheap.
Cleaning the finish becomes several times more complicated when it comes to the hallway. If you took a chance and laid this option on the floor near the front door, then be sure that every six months you will collect a bucket of dirt from these hated depressions and roughness (of course, this is exaggerated).
Therefore, when choosing tiles for renovation, be sure to evaluate your capabilities: are you ready to constantly clean debris from the textured coating, deal with grease and dust, and buy expensive household chemicals. If not, then better look at the smooth option. Although textured tiles look several times cooler, they can really ruin your life.
