5 types of things that are better not to store and throw away right now

In every apartment there is a place where absolutely unnecessary things are eventually stored - out of fashion, damaged, received as a gift from unpleasant people, or simply disturbing the owner’s peace of mind. It would be better to get rid of such things immediately. However, many people don't even realize that holding onto junk. Today I will tell you which items are best not to keep and should be thrown away.

Where should everything go?

Of course, there is no need to rush to throw away really good things. You need to get rid of them, but it’s better to do it wisely. For example, shoes or clothes will probably find new owners. For this purpose, there are special sites like “Flea Markets”, where those who wish will gladly take away clothes that are no longer needed by someone. And sometimes this event can even help you earn some money.

Street sale

If you don’t want to bother with selling, you can take the boxes and bags to a charity. Or, at worst, to church. They will try to accommodate them somehow.

Clothes and shoes

Of the torn or washed items, only torn jeans are good - a timeless trend, after all. Whereas everything else is unlikely to be worn even at picnics or at the dacha. Personally, I have an old suitcase for such things. It could also be thrown away, but it perfectly serves as a transit point.Once a year, in the midst of spring cleaning, all things are taken from there and mercilessly packed into a bag for charity. The main difficulty is to do everything quickly, decisively and without looking. If you allow yourself to stare at just one thing, the whole pile will flow back into your suitcase.

Paper, plastic, glass

In a word - trash. You need to be honest with yourself: it’s unlikely that anyone will now need newspapers of free advertisements from last season or a bottle of lemonade. Collecting something like this is actually a habit that comes from the USSR, when everything was in short supply.

Empty bottles

I have two boxes on my balcony for such garbage. One is used for plastic, the second for glass. As soon as they are full, the contents are handed over to a recycling point. And food containers leave the apartment the very next day. There is a special drawer in the kitchen for newspapers. When it starts to move out poorly, the waste paper still moves to the same raw material collection point.

Medicines

Now I'm not talking about those pills that are in the medicine cabinet. But if the expiration date has expired, throw it away without hesitation. In addition, it is better to separate and organize all medications for easy access. The first aid kit should be filled with only essential items, and the rest should be purchased as needed.

Cracked or chipped dishes

This is something that is really almost impossible to throw away, especially if you pre-seal it. It's a pity, the item retained its functions. However, such broken things very clearly reveal pettiness and greed in a person. You will have to do the same with slightly broken vases, figurines, and figurines. It's a shame, but there's nothing to be done.

Old technology

And again about honesty with yourself - it will only come in handy when putting in a trade-in. In all other cases, it's trash. All these abandoned chargers, ancient hair dryers, barely working computer peripherals... If a person does not deal with electronics, it is better to throw them in the trash. Or rather, for a good cause. Anything containing metal will be happily collected by the appropriate collection points. For example, I gave old computers to friends from a computer service.
