Saving in German
The Germans, as they say, are characterized by pedantry and careful attitude to things. It is believed that it was the citizens of Germany who taught the whole world to put aside a small part of their earnings every month “in reserve.”
In order to save money, residents of Germany do the following:
- Make a grocery list when going to the store and strictly follow it so as not to buy too much.
- They save on fashionable and branded clothing, preferring practical things that can last for a long period of time.
- Most often and to a greater extent, they save on utility bills. They do this by using electricity at night - washing machines, washing machines and similar units are turned on at night. Heating only works when the temperature in the apartment or house drops below 20 °C.
Saving in French
Most often, French residents save extra money in the following way:
- Clothes are bought mainly at sales, which helps save a significant part of the family budget.
- When traveling for leisure or work, they try to take travel companions if there is still free space in the car. Thus, by saving on gasoline together, it turns out to significantly reduce costs.
- Saving on utilities is common to all European residents. The French, for example, take baths on weekends, making it a real pleasure for themselves. And on ordinary days they limit themselves to a shower.
Saving in Swedish
This Scandinavian country has high taxes, so residents are accustomed to spending their money carefully. Most often they manage to save on:
- Be sure to save it for a rainy day. Even little Swedes have a bank account. First, parents replenish it. By the way, as a birthday gift, they can put a certain amount of money for their offspring - this is very common in this country. In this way, before reaching adulthood, it is possible to save a certain amount for the child, which he can spend either at his own discretion or direct to education.
- Saving on utility bills is also very common here. It is common for Swedes to turn off appliances when they are not needed. No one will ever leave a working light bulb or TV when leaving the room.
Saving in English
Prim Englishmen most often save their earned money in this way:
- The heating is turned on extremely rarely. Fortunately, the climate allows you to save on heating even in winter. Therefore, the British can go to bed by taking a heating pad with them to bed or putting on warm underwear.
- But they are used to saving on clothes a little differently than other European residents. Most often, the British buy expensive clothes, preferring to wear them for many years.
Saving in Japanese
This Asian country has little of everything - geographical area, square footage of housing, natural resources. That is why, when they talk about the savings of the Japanese, it is difficult to believe that such a highly developed power also forces its residents to save money. And this is really true, and it happens like this:
If a family likes to take a bath, then several people can “splash” in the same water at once. Particularly thrifty people even wash their clothes in it after everyone else has washed.
- Very often, the Japanese prefer to buy washing machines that do not heat water: they consume less electricity. Fortunately, modern powders allow you to thoroughly wash things even in cool water.
- Saving on food is also common in the Land of the Rising Sun. They do this when they are saving for some expensive purchase. There are numerous online platforms where you can purchase products at a lower price.
- The Japanese also try not to eat in public places. They prefer to take groceries with them even if they are at work all day.
As you can see, almost everywhere people are accustomed to saving. But not all methods are suitable at the level of mentality for the Slavs.
