Why is it better to buy new furniture than from someone else?
Recently, it has become popular to buy things dear to our hearts through ad sites. Very often you can buy cheap furniture there and not overpay for new items from the store. But is there any danger in such savings? Let's look into it thoroughly.
The content of the article
Unpleasant new tenants under the upholstery
The well-known name “flea market” came to us from earlier times, it was the name of the market where used wardrobes, chests of drawers, sofas and other interior items were sold. They concealed within themselves many unattractive creatures. Of course, it’s difficult to imagine such an outcome now, but it is quite possible! Which of us would want to buy a nice sofa and then bravely fight bedbugs? And they bite very painfully!
Medical experts agree that the source of allergies is dust mites, which love to take up residence in old upholstery.
It turns out that this is a dubious purchase option that can give us a sleepless night and problems with insects instead of relaxing on the couch. Even a chest of drawers can turn out to be a surprise and bring cockroaches.
Avoid dubious savings!
An orthopedic mattress is expensive, so some people try to save money and buy a previously used product.A dubious pleasure, since “smart” technologies remember the shape of the owner’s body, creating grooves that are as comfortable as possible for the previous owner, but not for you. This results in savings on your own health, and the spine will definitely not thank us for this! And I already mentioned insects above.
Degree of wear
I will pay tribute to the former Soviet (and not only!) furniture. The use of natural wood, high-quality plywood and chipboard made the body very durable. Some items become real rarities over time and increase in price. It is likely that under the shabby surface of a table from the last century there is hidden strong wood that will last for decades!
Of course, you should take proper care of it, wipe the dust, tighten the legs and clean it thoroughly. It is better to immediately take purchased antiques to restorers, who will help restore the shine and get rid of insects and unpleasant, foreign odors.
Restoration or regular reupholstery is cheaper than newfangled chipboard analogues.
Energy
Gradually I got to the most pressing question. Many people are extremely prejudiced towards such acquisitions. What is this connected with?
Each home is endowed with its own unique aura. When we live in a room, we furnish it in our own way, place tableware on each shelf or store books, some plant flowers, and some cats. Throughout life, a person experiences a variety of emotions: love, hatred, joy, grief. Birth and death also bear their mark on everyday life and the environment.Have you noticed how quiet there is in the apartment where the dead man was just taken out? It is likely that his relatives will want to sell personal belongings to pay for the funeral or simply in the process of dividing up property. Personally, I would not want to sleep on a bed that carries the negative emotions of serious illness and death! By taking someone else's thing, we, willy-nilly, become an accomplice in the life of the previous owner, so many impressionable and superstitious people buy only new cabinets and chairs, go to the store, spend time searching, guaranteeing their own peace of mind.
When choosing a tree, you should pay attention to the species. Aspen, spruce, bird cherry, poplar and alder are energy vampires; they extinguish the human biofield, so they are not used in a room setting.
As a result, I can offer three options for the development of events:
- never, under any circumstances, buy used sofas and beds out of disgust;
- treat furniture against parasites and change the upholstery, at the same time getting rid of foreign odors;
- If you believe in energy, be sure to sprinkle some holy water, read a prayer and light a church candle.
What to choose? The choice is always ours. Only we decide how to approach the purchase: from the point of view of practicality or from the point of view of superstitions and ancient signs.
