In pursuit of cleanliness, we tend to collect a variety of products in our shopping cart. They may differ in composition, purpose, bottle design and other (often minor) little things. But there is no need to try to buy up all the beautiful bottles from the shelves of household chemical stores, even if the label simply screams that this detergent will ensure cleanliness and order throughout the house. Sometimes it is enough to have only a few products in your closet, thanks to which you can clean absolutely all the rooms, and at the same time save a significant part of your budget.

Vacuum cleaner and mop

These are the basic tools for cleaning the house. Vacuum cleaner - remove dust and dirt from the floor, mop - perform wet cleaning and remove what the vacuum cleaner couldn’t handle (or missed).

When choosing these devices, it is better to rely on your own preferences and requirements. However, when purchasing, you should still follow some tips and recommendations. Regarding the vacuum cleaner:

• If the apartment is small and not particularly crowded with furniture, then in this case it is better to pay attention to robot vacuum cleaners. Agree that while it is doing its job, you can spend this time removing dust or (much better) a cup of coffee.
• If there are many rooms and each of them is equipped with furniture, then you can purchase a timeless classic - a wired model.The volume of the dust collector and the power of the device itself should be calculated based on the square footage of the house itself and the requirements that you place on this equipment.
• If you want to save money, use a washing vacuum cleaner. Then you won’t have to spend extra money on a mop, and the device itself will leave no doubt about the correct choice.

With a mop, the situation is somewhat simpler, because there are not so many models on the market:

• A conventional wooden structure is outdated, takes up a lot of space, you will have to spend effort wrung out a rag, and will not cope with dust in hard-to-reach places. And what to hide - this option has long been a thing of the past, because in stores you can choose a functional and more convenient model.
• With a sponge - a universal option. You don’t have to bend down every time, because you can squeeze out the sponge with one movement of your hand. When used correctly, it works for quite a long time, but many users note that the spin mechanism is made, let’s say, not of the highest quality, and therefore a lot of liquid often remains on the sponge, which results in stains when washing the floor. In addition, excess moisture will definitely harm coatings such as laminate and parquet.
• The butterfly mop is a more advanced tool. Spinning is faster and better quality, the device itself is quite ergonomic when folded, and has a strong metal handle.
• Rope model - This model of mops is often called the “lazy one”. This is not surprising: you don’t need to use much effort to squeeze the ropes. It cleans well and is able to penetrate into the most difficult to reach places, however (like the sponge option) it is not used for all floor coverings.
• Founder is perhaps the most convenient and multifunctional option.In some cases, it can be used instead of a broom, since the mop is suitable not only for wet cleaning, but also for dry cleaning.

When visiting a household chemicals store, pay attention to all-purpose cleaners. As a rule, these are products based on natural ingredients that do not contain aggressive or abrasive substances. That is why they can be safely used on various surfaces: wood, plastic, metal, glass, earthenware and others. Thanks to such universal products, you can avoid cluttering your closet with products for different purposes - they are suitable for cleaning everything in the house, from window sills to delicate wooden chairs.

If you decide to go with this option, then it is better to pay attention to spray bottles - they are much more convenient and, most importantly, more economical.

Cleaner for mirrors and glass

It is unlikely that you will find a house that does not have these materials - glass and mirror surfaces. But we still need to wash them, no matter how much we resist this activity.

By the way, a product for mirrors and glass is not always considered highly targeted. Personally, I can use it on tiles in the bathroom - it removes any stains, and also gives the coating shine and shine.

The ideal option is a universal one, which is suitable not only for the toilet, but also for the sink and bathtub. But the label must indicate that the composition is capable of destroying germs and bacteria, and will not harm such delicate materials as acrylic, marble, earthenware, ceramics and others from which plumbing fixtures are made.

Soft bristle brush

Well, there is no need to explain here: you will need a brush for stubborn stains and complex dirt. It is better to choose a tool with bristles made from plant fibers: this way there is less risk of leaving scratches on surfaces.

However, remember: it is better to stock up on a separate brush for the bathroom and bathroom. You shouldn’t use the same one for the toilet and upholstered furniture - well, there’s no need to explain anything here.
