Note: how to remove stubborn stains from clothes the Australian way

From time to time, we all may have “emergency” situations when an oil stain appears on our clothes. This in no way speaks of sloppiness - this can happen even to the most tidy people.

But usually it is very difficult to remove such stains, and a person regretfully either throws the item in the trash bin or uses it for household needs. However, do not rush to part with your favorite thing. Australian housewife Chantel Mila has found the perfect recipe that will help get rid of even the most difficult stains. The solution is quite practical and effective, and the ingredients for preparing the product can be found in every home.

Life hack: how to remove a greasy stain

Yes, it is quite possible to buy some proven product that copes with such contaminants. But what to do if it runs out, because you need to act quickly with oil stains before they get into the fibers of the fabric.

Everything is very simple! Take baking soda, a small piece of cardboard, dishwashing detergent, a soft bristle brush and a washing machine. Perhaps this set can be found in every home.

To begin, place a piece of cardboard under the stain. Then dishwashing detergent is applied to the dirt - it is excellent for combating grease.

There is no need to rub the product in, just squeeze a small layer onto the problem area.

Now pour in soda - also in a small layer, but so that it completely covers the problem area. Gently rub this entire mixture into the dirt with a brush and leave for 7-10 minutes.

For a positive result, all that remains is to put the item in the washing machine and wash it in the mode recommended by the manufacturer (label on the clothing: temperature, spin, dry, etc.).

Usually, after such events, not a trace of fat remains, but if it doesn’t work the first time (in especially difficult cases), then the procedure can be repeated.
