Where to store things from the balcony if there is no balcony as such

While some argue that balconies should be used only for their intended purpose - for rest and relaxation - some do not have this balcony at all. Bike

You can use mounts that are mounted into the wall, and the bike can be hung in any position - both horizontal and vertical. Sometimes ordinary hooks or special “shelf” holders are used for this.

Pickles

Many food products that have been stored for the winter require special storage conditions, including temperature. It was for this reason that our grandmothers put jars of pickles and jam in the cellar. Already in the modern world, the balcony has become the ideal place.But what if it’s not there? Don’t give up the pleasure of enjoying the preparations on winter evenings. There is only one way out - a second refrigerator. True, this method is not always appropriate and feasible, especially if there is simply no room for a second device.

But put canned food that can be stored at room temperature in the bottom drawer of your kitchen unit (but again, when you have one).

If the situation is hopeless - no second refrigerator, no extra drawer - see if there is a small gap left between the wall and the existing refrigerator? If you have one, you can install a simple pull-out shelf there, where jars of pickles and jam can fit comfortably.

Ironing board

In order not to constantly suffer and not have to look for a place for it throughout the apartment, there is a very convenient alternative - a folding wall-mounted model. It easily hides in a niche that can be built behind a mirror or even behind a door.

Another option is in the kitchen. During the renovation phase, you can design an ironing board that will slide out of the drawer. True, there is one drawback to this - such boards are very compact and are very different in size from the usual ones.

Wet laundry

The solution is folding clothes dryers, which can be built-in or mobile. There are quite a lot of options: they slide out like an accordion, recline like a ladder, or slide out on telescopic guides.

Other small items (cannot be thrown away or stored)

If there are a lot of things accumulated in the apartment that are not currently in use, but no one is going to throw them out, then you can use any seat that is in the house to store them. For example, folding sofas, ottomans with a folding top, kitchen corners.

And additional space can be obtained by designing a podium.In the bedroom there is a place to place a bed, in the children’s room there is a stage for theatrical performances, in the living room there is space to be zoned.
