Bottle cutter drawing
In order for the design to be accurate and clearly meet the owner’s requirements, it is important to draw up a competent diagram. In it you need to mark the places where the bolts and nuts are attached, as well as the blades. At the same time, the drawing is universal - you can cut strips of various widths.
Step by step guide
Drill two holes for screws in a piece of plywood. Their diameter is 8 mm, the distance from each other is about 2 cm. Next, screws are inserted into the prepared holes, and washers are placed on them.
The width of the plastic strip will depend on the number of washers. In the case of five elements, you will get a tape of about 7–8 mm.
We disassemble the pencil sharpener for spare parts. We will need a sharpened blade, which we place on the washers with the blade down. We install a couple more washers on top and fasten the screws tightly so that the knife holds tightly.
At this point the product is ready and you can start cutting. To do this, remove the bottom of the plastic container and make a small incision. Then the beginning of the tape is passed under a knife, the bottle is pressed against the plywood and pulled through, obtaining a neat and very durable plastic tape.
You can use it at home or at the dacha. It is strong and durable and will not break with prolonged use.
