• To simplify the procedure, it makes sense to buy a ready-to-install manifold, which includes shut-off valves.These units will be mounted on the terminals of underfloor heating, heating radiators and other heat consumers. During operation of the heating network, the homeowner will have the opportunity to turn off certain circuits of the heating network, but at the same time, some of the circuits will continue to operate.
• The ends of the pipes, shut-off valves and the manifold are connected using fittings. Quite often, the outlet pipes of a heated floor are connected to the collector using connecting units consisting of a ring equipped with a clamp, a bushing and a nut made of brass. There is a simpler connection method, which is based on the use of simple clamps that are equipped with locking valves.
• The heat supply and return pipes are connected to the inlet of the coolant distribution device, and the underfloor heating pipes are connected to the outlets.

• shut-off valves;
• mixing unit;
• drain tap;
• pump to ensure the movement of the working medium.

In the process of connecting the collector and underfloor heating elements to the boiler, the shut-off devices can be replaced with a valve with an installed thermostat. The main advantage of such a device is its ability to change dimensions in accordance with the temperature regime. After passing through this device, the coolant will receive a certain intensity of movement.

Connection procedure

As already noted, the optimal heating system can be considered a set of equipment consisting of:

• boiler;
• warm floor;
• collector;

1. Selection of connection location. As usual, before connecting heating equipment, it is necessary to prepare the room. That is, it must have a flat floor and be equipped with drainage to remove water that may enter the room as a result of a breakthrough. Of course, it should have lighting installed. 2. Direct and return pipelines are connected to the collector. The return will receive cooled water and redirect it to heating. Through a direct pipeline, the coolant, heated to the specified parameters, will be sent to the heating network.
3. The boiler pipe is connected to a valve; fittings are used for this purpose and then connected to the manifold.
4. Taps and temperature regulators must be installed at the ends of the pipes. They are designed to regulate the movement of coolant along the circuits and, if necessary, for example, in the event of an emergency, disconnecting damaged lines.
5. The last operation is testing the assembled system.

There is no single document on the technology of assembling the collector unit and connecting the heated floor to the boiler. But the principle of operation is the same. Meanwhile, there are certain rules that make sense to follow when performing this work.

For example, the expansion tank should be installed above the circulation pump. The installation location of this pump is not so critical, but experience shows that it is advisable to install it at the highest point of the heating system.
