If you choose a generator to power the boiler, then they are divided into several types based on the type of operation and the fuel used. Let's take a closer look at each of them.

Petrol

Perhaps the best option for an electric boiler is a gasoline one. It has many advantages.

Gasoline is quite powerful. When you choose a petrol model, in almost all situations, in the event of a power outage, all electrical appliances will continue to work, including the gas boiler. But there is a rare exception to this rule: the gas boiler does not work, but the electrical appliances work properly. Purchasing a gasoline power plant is especially rational if the electricity is turned off for more than a day. It is worth considering that diesel installations are usually chosen to supply high power, but diesel is cheaper than gasoline. Also, gasoline is easier to start in cold conditions.

IMPORTANT.Gasoline is a little lighter than diesel (and from practice, we can say that sometimes it needs to be moved from place to place). It is also somewhat quieter during operation.

Diesel

Diesel generators for heating boilers are quite durable; the service life of its power plant is significantly higher than that of other types of generators. Diesel systems are also quite profitable, since their fuel consumption is approximately thirty percent less than their gasoline competitors.

However, it is worth considering that diesel engines are often chosen to create powerful power plants. They can power entire factories, towns, and even islands. Therefore, for low power consumption, gasoline is preferable due to its simplicity of design.

Gas

Such gas generators for boilers can be used when the house is gasified. It is powered by natural or liquid gas.

It is worth noting that gas is distinguished by its environmental friendliness, and when connected to the gas network, it does not require periodic refueling.

Inverter

This type uses an inverter system and a stabilizer. As a result, it produces energy of very high quality with an accurate sine wave, and this is especially important for boilers, the automation of which is very sensitive to the quality of energy.

Among the disadvantages of this type of equipment, one can note its high cost.
