What are the parts of a shovel called?
The standard device consists of three components: a handle, a canvas and a tulle. The handle is usually wooden or plastic, and is a cylindrical stick that ends with a working part attached to it.
The purpose of the tool depends on the configuration and size of the blade.
For example, a digging shovel is an almost straight metal disk with a sharpening along the bottom edge. It is easy to cut the soil and turn it over. It is made mainly from steel, since it is the only light, durable and affordable material.
To connect the blade to the handle, a tulika is used. It can be an independent element or an integral part of the work surface. It is a rounded metal plate into which the handle is threaded. With its help, the blade and the handle are securely interconnected.
The handle is usually made of plastic or wood. For convenience, a special holder resembling a triangle is installed on the top of the handle. It provides additional convenience when working.
