How to print on a notebook sheet in a printer

Many students have encountered this: in order to get a mark on an exam or test, it is necessary to provide the teacher with notes of all lectures given or practical work written by hand. What to do when you need to write by hand a lot and for a long time, but there is sorely not enough time?

What do you need to print on a notebook sheet in a printer?

How to print on a notebook sheet in a printerIn order for printing to be successful the first time, you should prepare the following in advance:

  • Blank squared notebook;
  • Scissors or a stationery knife, which will be much more convenient;
  • Scotch tape, preferably narrow;
  • A computer with Microsoft Word versions 2007 and later installed, as well as the Eskal font;
  • Printer, color or laser, preferably color.

IMPORTANT. You may also need office paper for printing in A4 format, from which you can make a substrate for printing by attaching a sheet from a notebook to A4. They are usually somewhat thinner than normal and some printers may not be designed to print on such fragile material.

How to carry out the process

  1. After creating a new file, you need to set the appropriate page size, which will correspond to the size of single notebook sheets - 16.5 cm by 20.5 cm. Next, we set up the margins of the printing area, for example, the following: top and bottom 0.5 cm, inner 2, 5 cm, external 0.8 cm.If you need to design several pages in a row at once, it is better to use mirrored margins for the most believable result.
  2. To clearly understand how the text will be located in the cells of the sheet, you can activate the grid in the “layout” section. Set the grid options to 0.5 cm increments and choose to display grid lines on the screen.
  3. In order to succinctly enter the text into the cells, select the Eskal font, size 16; the line spacing will also have to be adjusted to the size of the cells. You can also use the removal of space after a paragraph, and set the text alignment to width. Don't forget to activate hyphenation by going to the "layout" tab again.
  4. When printing with either an inkjet or laser printer, it is recommended to use single, pre-cut sheets of notebook paper to prevent paper jams.
  5. After completing the process, tape the sheets together in the correct order and take care of the cover for your newly made notebook.
