How to view a printer's print queue

The principle of using the printer is described in detail in the instructions and should not cause difficulties, but sometimes users have problems. One of these is the freezing of the program and the state of the print queue. In order to properly restore operation, it is necessary to perform certain manipulations. View the print queue

First, it’s worth understanding what a print queue is and where you can view it on a computer running Windows. As the name implies, this option allows you to view the list of documents launched and sent for printing, as well as adjust the printing sequence. In order to find the appropriate menu and make adjustments, you must perform the following steps:

1. Connect the computer and printer to the network, make sure that the software and drivers are available when connected.
2. Go to the main menu of the system by pressing the start key or the corresponding button on the keyboard.
3. After this, you can use the search bar and enter the name of the required section “Printers and Scanners” or follow the path to the device. For the second option, you will need to go to the “Control Panel”, then to “Devices and Printers”.
4. From the proposed options, select the “Printer” tab, find the name of your equipment model.

2. Next, select “Clear print queue”.
3. If this action does not help correct the situation, you need to go to the administration settings and stop the print manager. To do this, through the control panel, go to system and security, and then to administration.
4. At this point, select “Services”. From the list that appears, right-click on the manager and select the “Stop” action.
5. After this, restart your computer, turn on the printer again, and try to print the document. Everything should work properly.
