How to cancel duplex printing on your printer

Double-sided printing or duplex is a method in which information is reflected on paper on both sides without your help. This technology will save you from manually turning over documents. Sometimes this saves a lot of time, because the output is a printed sheet on both sides. The advantages of duplex are working with large volumes, when manual paper feeding is extremely inconvenient and requires your constant presence. But if you use the printer for domestic purposes, or the bulk of the printed information is needed in a one-sided format, then the “duplex” function is extremely inconvenient.

Cancel duplex printing: methods

Let's say most electronic material requires an image on one side, while your printer is automatically set to print on both sides. It seems like nothing bad, but, firstly, time is wasted on the empty run of the second side, plus the frequent jamming of paper of higher density.

1. Using the Windows operating system, go to the “Control Panel” and select the “Devices and Printers” icon.
