This craft can be done by any craftsman who can hold a needle in his hands. A handmade accessory will highlight the style of its owner or serve as a unique gift for a loved one.

Felt headphone case in the shape of an animal

If you love cats, then you will definitely like this case in the shape of this animal! To make it, you will need:

• pattern;
• felt of a suitable shade;
• threads;
• 2 beads for eyes;
• sew-on button;
• scissors;
• handle for transferring the pattern;
• sewing threads;
• needle for hand sewing.

The pattern in the shape of a cat, about 9 cm high, needs to be transferred to felt with a pen and cut out. Mark a place for the tongue, it will be the one that will fasten the headphones to the figure. The back of the pattern has ears, the front does not.

We cut out the tongue from a material that has a shade close to red. Sew the top of the button onto the tip of the tongue. To secure it, you need to make a cut in the front of the pattern, then insert and secure from the wrong side.

Mark the location for attaching the second half of the button at the bottom of the figure and sew it on. Decorate the muzzle, nose, sew on eyes.Connect the front and back parts of the figure with a buttonhole stitch using bright threads. The case is ready.

DIY case made of thick fabric with a lock

You can choose any fabric. For the front side, you can use denim, corduroy, drape or any dense material. For the reverse side, thinner types are also quite suitable. It is recommended to find a zipper in the same shade as the planned front fabric.

The case offered for production is similar to a small round wallet. For ease of wearing, you can attach a ring to it and you will get a stylish keychain for your bag. What you will need for production:

• circle-shaped templates with a diameter of 11.5 and 12.5 cm;
• thick fabric of one or two colors;
• suitable size zipper;
• ring for hanging;
• scissors, pen, pinning needles, sewing machine.

Step-by-step instructions for making a case with a lock:

• using templates, transfer the patterns onto the fabric with a pen, for the front side - with a diameter of 12.5 cm, for the back side - 11.5 cm;
• cut out 2 front and 2 back parts;
• cut one front and one back part into 2 equal parts;
• sew the zipper into the cut line, aligning the front and back parts, using a sewing machine;
• we make a loop (fastening for the ring) and sew it to the round part, aligning the front side with the front side;
• Having fastened the finished parts with pinning needles, leaving the zipper unzipped, we sew down the parts with a seam allowance of 0.5 cm;
• we make notches on the circumference for better turning and cut off excess sections of the zipper;

Leather is the most wear-resistant material for a case. This accessory will last a long time and looks stylish. To make it, prepare a leather flap, felt, Moment glue, thread, needle, pen and pattern.

ATTENTION! What shape to make the cover depends on the imagination of the author. But so that the skein can be easily placed inside and quickly removed, it is recommended to choose a round shape.

Using a pen, transfer the circle-shaped pattern onto a piece of leather and cut out 2 parts. Carefully cut one of the leather circles in half.

The resulting elements are connected to the felt with the wrong side using glue. Next, you should wait for the glue to dry and cut out parts of the cover. Finish the edges with a buttonhole stitch.

Then you need to sew the free edges of the parts together using a buttonhole stitch, hiding the knots between the felt and the leather. Care must be taken, it is impossible to baste the skin - there will be traces of needle punctures, so everything must turn out right the first time.

After the free edges of the parts are stitched, place the semicircles on the round element so that their edges coincide. Sew the semicircles to the round element using a buttonhole stitch. If you want to decorate the case with beads, then with each stitch you should thread the needle through the bead.

Having completed connecting all the parts around the perimeter, it is advisable to hide the knots on the side of the felt.
