What types of ear pads are there?

1. Circus-aural. By design, it is a soft cushion that is located on the sides of the speakers. This is an extremely convenient and effective design, considered professional.
2. Supra aural. The model is somewhat simpler. This view completely covers the speaker, significantly affecting the quality of the reproduced sound.
3. Intraural. Small in size, practically no different in properties from Supra aural.

The first items on this list are preferred. They do not interfere with high-quality sound reproduction and adhere well to the dynamics.

Different manufacturers produce a wide variety of options when it comes to shape, size, and color. And they may have some differences in design. In the usual version, this is a tube made of soft material and a fastening element. More advanced models may have special inserts that enhance sound insulation.

Another type of conditional classification of small soft inserts is the materials used in their manufacture. The more expensive the headphones, the more expensive the owners usually buy the ear pads. The basis of the device can be made from velvet and other expensive materials. At the lowest level there is foam rubber, painted in a certain color.
