We must also remember that not all monitors have a device for attaching to any devices. Then you need to carefully select a mechanism that, for example, can hold the screen on the sides or top and bottom.

How to prepare the monitor for the bracket?

On many models of modern monitors there are special holes for attaching the bracket. They are located on the back wall in a certain order, and their location should be taken into account when selecting the fastening mechanism. To hang the monitor on the wall, you need to remove or drill out the plugs from these holes. Work should be carried out carefully so as not to damage the boards and other important parts of the monitor.

Mounting a computer monitor to a vertical wall requires some experience with power tools. In this case, you may need an electric drill with an impact mechanism, a hammer drill, or another more serious tool. They must be equipped with appropriate consumables, for example, a special drill for concrete. The diameter of the latter must be selected taking into account the characteristics of the bracket. It is also necessary to prepare a very small amount of gypsum or cement solution in the usual construction version in order to erase the marks that will remain after punching holes.

So, after the hole is ready, a dowel is inserted into it. The next step is to attach the plate, which all brackets must have. It is screwed to the dowels with screws and self-tapping screws, which are necessarily included in the fastening mechanism kit. After this, it remains to mount on the wall the part of the device intended directly for mounting the monitor.
