  4. The Enhance tab has been one of the important features of Windows. In fact, before Windows 10, most of them used the Enhance tab to toggle volume and other controls.

Improvements to the microphone have made it even easier to set up audio equipment. This, apart from certain problems such as no sound, microphone not working and audio recording failure, is mainly due to the extension tab glitch.
Is your microphone enhancement tab missing? Check your equipment.
As always, the first step would be to ensure that the equipment is not malfunctioning and is connected correctly.
Check the physical condition of the microphone and the wire connecting it to the computer. Also disconnect and reconnect the device. In the meantime, you can try connecting the microphone to other Windows 10 devices and see if the problem persists.
Also, try recording a sample sound on any other devices.
If the microphone works on other computers but not on your Windows 10, the problem is in the software. I would personally recommend that users check the audio ports for lint and other dust particles. It is recommended to install a special card.
Add a device to resolve the microphone extension issue.
Launch Run using "Win + R".
Type Control.Exe.
After clicking enter, the control panel should open.
Now go to “Add Device” and select “Hardware”.
Select your device and click Next.
Restart your computer.
