Typically, their imitation is needed for children's parties or creative evenings for the image of a presenter, and the device should not work. Our goal is to create a similar case.

For the full-fledged version that we see in the hardware store, you need knowledge of electronics and the ability to design electrical appliances. Therefore, we will talk about a simplified way to create crafts from available materials that are found in every home.

IMPORTANT: Of course, you won’t get a real microphone, but achieving the desired result is quite possible. For matinees, this will be enough to make the child feel like a star.

What will you need?

Before starting work, it is important to decide on the basic material and prepare everything necessary for creation. We suggest you use the list of suitable things:

1. For the base, you can use a paper towel roll, narrow tin cans or soda cans. We will tell you about the method of making paper.
2. A can or bushing with a larger radius is also suitable for the top.
3. The body can be wrapped with rope or covered with foil.
4. Additionally, you can attach a wire to the bottom edge.
5. If you want to decorate the microphone, purchase decoration elements (beads, rhinestones, flowers, stickers...).
6. Tools: scissors, ruler, glue, pencil, felt-tip pen.

Instructions: how to make a microphone out of paper?

If during your preparation you already have your own idea for creating a microphone simulation, you can use it. We will tell you about the cheapest and fastest way to make a blank. To do this, follow all instructions in order.

First we make the base of the microphone handle:

1. Take a blank piece of paper and mark the future product on it. The approximate dimensions of the rectangle are 10x15 centimeters.
2. You can take a blank from the Internet and draw a cutout for the microphone. A more convenient option would be to use the sheet rolling method.
3. To do this, you can use a rectangular or cone-shaped piece of paper.
4. Cut the workpiece along the contour.
5. Carefully roll the sheet into a spiral. At the same time, adjust the twist density so that the microphone is not too narrow, the radius of the top is about 2 centimeters. The handle should smoothly taper down to 1-1.5 centimeters in radius.
6. To fix the outline, glue the ends of the paper using PVA glue. Glue or fasten with pins colored cardboard of your choice on top of plain paper.
7. Wrap everything around the perimeter with rope and glue it.

Now you need to make the top and imitation of the wire for greater plausibility. This must be done in the following sequence:

1. Find an iron ring or make one from cardboard.
2. Attach a thick rope to it and place everything inside, thread the end of the rope through the bottom edge of the microphone and bring it out.
3. After that, proceed to closing the top part.
4. Fill the inner space with cotton wool. Cut out the piece for the top from cardboard.
5. Glue it to the handle and decorate the edges of the glue.
6. If desired, you can complement the craft with decorative inserts.

What can you decorate with?

• Attaching various sparkles, rhinestones, beads or artificial stones using glue.
• Decoration with crumpled foil in the form of flowers.
• Adding fur balls.
• You can use multi-colored threads to wrap the microphone handle.
• Sign the microphone in an unusual way.
