Lower case - what is it?
Don't understand what we're talking about? It's quite simple. When lowercase is enabled, lowercase letters will be typed, respectively, when uppercase is enabled, capital letters will be typed.
There are various options for setting the keyboard to top or bottom mode. Let's look at these methods below.
How to switch to lowercase on the keyboard?
As already noted, there are several options for switching to lowercase. Let's look at them:
- Short-term switching. It will not be difficult to find the “Shift” key on any computer keyboard. Please note that on some models this may not be the above inscription, but an arrow pointing up. If you have the upper mode enabled, to switch to the lower mode you need to press this key and the required symbol. This method is suitable if you need to switch between them briefly.
- Long set. There is another switching method. In this case, you will need to find the “Caps Lock” key. Look for it on the left side of the layout above “Shift”. When activated, a long change occurs. That is, you press the button and print in the lower mode constantly until you need to switch it.
REFERENCE. The activated or disabled LED located on the right side of the keyboard will help you determine which mode the keyboard is in. If it is activated, the top mode is enabled.
- There is another switching option. It is found in the Word application. Let's say you were typing text and forgot to change to the correct register. This does not mean that you need to erase the typed information. There are some tools you can use. To do this, select the fragment to be changed. In the “Home” toolbar, find the “Font” category. It is in the window that opens that the change case function will be available. These are “a” and “A”.
