Another way to connect the controller to the set-top box is to connect using a micro-USB cable. You can use this method if you are not embarrassed by the prospect of playing with a connected cable.
To implement this method, simply plug one end of the cable into the micro-USB connector on the top of the joystick and the other into the jack on the console. That’s it, no additional actions need to be taken, you can start playing.
Some people find the cable inconvenient, but it's the only way to play if you don't have the necessary batteries to use the joystick wirelessly.
