How to connect a wireless joystick to a laptop

The connection processes for a wireless and wired gamepad are different. If in the latter you just need to insert the plug into the corresponding connector, then in the former you need to do a number of other operations.

Connecting a joystick to a laptop: step by step

The joystick is connected to the laptop as follows:

1. First you need to install the gamepad drivers.
2. Check if your computer supports Bluetooth. If you know how to use it, there shouldn't be any problems. If not, just turn on Wi-Fi, this will also activate Bluetooth.A dialog box opens. If this does not happen, and you cannot connect Bluetooth in other ways, you need an adapter.
3. After creating the conditions necessary for connection, you can activate the gamepad. To do this, you need to press the button in the center and hold it until the joystick turns on.
4. Now you need to start the bluetooth module. You can right-click on the corresponding image in the Quick Launch panel and select “Add devices.” The laptop performs the search on its own.
5. After finding the joystick, click OK.
