Chandelier is the only light source

It should be understood that such a lamp itself has more aesthetic value than practical. The light in it is often not bright enough. That is why, in addition to it, you need to install sconces, floor lamps and other lamps.

However, it makes no sense to illuminate the entire room. It is enough to highlight certain corners near which you are most often located.

Low doors

In those distant times, when people bowed when entering someone's home, low doors may have been relevant. But in our time this is extremely inconvenient.

There is also a fairly common misconception that tall doors will only look good with matching ceilings. However, this is just a myth. In fact, such a solution is not only convenient, but also beautiful. Regardless of the height of the room.

You can always turn to a knowledgeable person who will tell you how to correctly fit a colorful canvas into the atmosphere of the room. But you should never be afraid of your taste preferences. You can even hang your own work. Anything is better than bare walls.

There are many more modern alternatives, and you can mix and match different styles. For example, lay out the “deck” along the edges, and make a “Christmas tree” in the center.
