Cleaning the filter

The filter must be cleaned periodically on all models. It's not very difficult - the sequence of actions is as follows:

1. Unscrew and clean the inlet filter on the water pipe.
2. If it is not there, remove and clean the mesh with filter. To do this, move the washing machine aside and find the place where the liquid intake hose and the unit body are connected.
3. Remove the lid from above, dismantle the valve with filter.
4. Disassemble the filter and rinse under running water.
5. Put all the parts in place, following the reverse algorithm.

Replacing the blocker

If the Zanussi washing machine does not start, the reason may be related to the blocker. It can fail either due to a manufacturer’s error or due to wear and tear or careless actions.

As a rule, this part is not repaired, but a new one is simply installed. The sequence of actions is as follows:

2. Remove the bolts from the back panel and then find a shank with 2 contacts and power wires, as shown in the photo.
3. Using a multitester, the resistance indicator is measured. If it is almost equal to 0, the heating element definitely needs to be replaced with a new one. If the value is from 20 to 4 Ohms, then the heating element is working normally.
4. To dismantle the heating element, remove the nut and disconnect the wires that go to it. This will help troubleshoot the Zanussi washing machine.
5. Remove the heating element from the groove. This will require effort, because over a long period of use it will stick. It is recommended to use WD-40 lubricant.
6. Using loosening movements, remove the old part and clean the adjacent surfaces.
7. To eliminate the violation due to which the Zanussi does not press, install a new heating element, connect the wiring and install the panel in place.
