Electrolux dishwasher error I30 and other codes. What to do if the device does not work
Error i30 of an Electrolux dishwasher or 3 blinks of the indicator indicate that the AquaStop system is triggered. This usually occurs when water accumulates in the pan, for example, when there is a breakdown in the drainage system. These and other reasons, as well as ways to eliminate them, are described in this article.

Main reasons
Malfunctions of the Electrolux dishwasher are often associated with the appearance of water in the pan. Because of this, the automatic blocking system “Aquastop” is triggered, as a result of which the device stops working.
Error i20 appears on the screen in an Electrolux dishwasher or other codes (for example, i30). This can happen for various reasons:
- Leakage occurs due to damage to the tank, inlet or drain hose. Over time, fasteners and clamps may become loose, causing the system to lose its tightness.
- Clogged drain system. After prolonged use, the filter or hose may become damaged. They must be dismantled and carefully inspected. If everything is in order, then the reason is related to the sewer - the blockage probably formed there.
- Sometimes error codes for Electrolux dishwashers appear due to pump malfunctions. It also becomes clogged with food debris and may fail.In this case, you will need a replacement, which, if you have the skills, you can do yourself.
- If the Electrolux dishwasher generated an i20 error, but when examining the pan, no water was found in it, this may be due to problems with the system that controls the overflow of water. It is also recommended to check the control module - perhaps the electronics have been damaged due to a power outage or water droplets.
Ways to resolve the error
First of all, you need to restart your device. To do this, unplug it from the outlet, wait 15 minutes and turn it on again. Then they restart the program, and if everything is in order, the Electrolux dishwasher will stop giving error i30.
If this helps, the reason is due to a system failure. But if the code continues to appear on the screen, you need to inspect the pan and remove the water from there. To do this, disconnect the unit from the network, turn off the tap and proceed as follows:
- Prepare a basin or other container in advance.
- Tilt the unit and drain all the liquid.
- Remove the panel from above.
- Unscrew each screw and remove the panels from the side.
- After all surfaces have dried, turn on the device again and start the mode. After this, the Electrolux dishwasher will no longer show error 20.
Cleaning the drain system
In almost every third case, the message “i30” appears due to blockages in the drain system. If the surface of the pallet is dry, proceed as follows:
- Remove the drain hose and check for blockages. Rinse under the tap.
- Open the mixer tap as much as possible.
- See how quickly the water flows into the sewer pipe, and clean it if necessary.
- Open the door, remove the filter and remove the mesh. Rinse it under the tap.
- Next, you need to inspect the impeller and, if necessary, also clean it.
- The next elements of the drainage system are pipes and a pump. They often get stuck with food deposits, causing “i30” to light up on the screen, resulting in the Electrolux dishwasher not turning on. If necessary, the pump should be replaced.
Intake valve
The appearance of the “i30” can also be explained by the breakdown of the valve in the water intake system. It consists of mechanical and electrical systems, each of which can stop working. For diagnosis and repair you need:
- “Ring” the contacts with a multimeter.
- Inspect the part, check the membrane.
- Replace if necessary.
Other error codes
Sometimes the dishwasher produces other error codes, the most common of which are:
- i10 – water does not enter the chamber, the problems are related to the filling system.
- i20 – problems with the drain system, liquid does not leave the chamber.
- i50 – during operation, uncharacteristic sounds occur, and the program does not complete completely.
- i60 – the water remains cool or, conversely, becomes too hot.
- i70 – water does not heat up.
- i80 – the unit does not respond to commands and does not turn on.
- i90 – the car turns on, but it cannot be started.
Thus, sometimes the Electrolux dishwasher may show error 30 or other codes. In some cases, repairs can be done yourself. However, if the measures described do not help, it is better not to risk it and contact a qualified specialist.
