Cleaning the dishwasher at home with synthetic products

How to clean grease from kitchen appliances without using physical force
There are many effective remedies that you can make yourself from available ingredients. Let's look at some of them.
A solution of soda and vinegar is prepared as follows: take water and 5% acetic acid in a ratio of 13:1, add baking soda (about 55 grams) to the container, mix everything well, the consistency should sizzle.Next, the container is placed in the machine, and it is started in standard mode without dishes. When finished, wipe the inner chamber with a cloth; not a trace of dirt should remain.
Important! Before you begin cleaning the dishwasher, you must unplug it and turn off the water supply tap.
Which parts need to be removed and thoroughly cleaned individually?
First, we take out the baskets and utensils, soak them in a pre-prepared container with water and detergent, and leave them for some time depending on the contamination (from 30 minutes to an hour). Afterwards, clean thoroughly with a sponge and rinse with clean water. This procedure gives a good effect.
The most contaminated part is the mesh filter, on which a large amount of grease and plaque accumulates every day. Small holes become clogged, which can result in a rather unpleasant odor due to a breeding ground for harmful bacteria, and most importantly, this can cause a leak. The cleaning procedure consists of the following steps: you need to remove the lower basket and disassemble it, remove the filter and rinse thoroughly under the tap using any detergent intended for washing dishes. Next, dry the part or wipe it dry with a towel, and install it back. To maintain the strainer in excellent hygienic conditions, it is enough to carry out this procedure 1-2 times a week.
The next step is to clean the blades, which become dirty with food debris and scale. To do this, remove them and wash them, cleaning the holes with toothpicks.
Every six months it is advisable to clean the seals using specialized products recommended by the manufacturer. A toothbrush will also come in handy as it can easily get into the space between the pads.
Methods for removing rust and mold from appliance parts
The ideal solution for removing black mold at home is bleach. The higher the level of pollution, the longer it will take to process (for the heaviest pollution 5–6 hours, for light pollution – from two to three hours). Before bleaching, you can first apply a hydrogen peroxide solution for 2 hours.
Important! If the device contains stainless steel parts, chlorine-containing substances will not be suitable.
Reference! Preventing mold from appearing is quite simple - just regularly leave the door open to ventilate any remaining moisture.
The first symptoms of rust are swelling of the surface layer of paint or peeling. Removal is quite complicated and is only possible with the help of special rust removal products. To prevent this unpleasant problem from occurring, it is enough to install a water purification filter.
Features of cleaning the device with citric acid
The use of citric acid to care for seals is considered undesirable due to its negative impact on the properties of rubber. After using this substance, the rubber gasket loses such important functions as elasticity and tightness.
How to prevent dirt accumulation and scale formation on parts
Important! Before loading, dirty dishes must be thoroughly cleaned of food residues. This action will allow you to carry out general cleaning of the device much less frequently.
To prevent scale formation, you can clean (every six months) with citric acid. The procedure is quite simple: fill the tray with 200 grams of citric acid and start the wash without dishes. Experts recommend using special products (Finish, Soda sun, Topper, Amway).
Attention! The main rule for preventing scale formation is the regular use of salt, which reduces the accumulation of deposits.
