Not many people know, but most models of air conditioners and split systems can be successfully used even in winter. By following certain operating rules, you can safely turn on the device to cool or heat a room.

• complex arrangement of mechanisms;
• heavy repairs in case of breakdowns;
• the need to regularly turn on the device so that the lubricants and components in the structure do not deteriorate.

• Before turning on the device, make sure that this model has a heating mode. Read the instructions carefully. It will also tell you about the temperature limits within which the air conditioner can be used.

Important! Typically, you can use the heating mode down to -5 °C. However, you should independently assess the weather conditions outside the window and decide whether such activation is safe.

• In severe frosts, you should not use an air conditioner instead of a heater. Temperature changes will damage the device.
• It is also possible to turn on the design for cooling, for example, when the radiators in the apartment are mercilessly heated in winter.But in this case, low negative temperatures can also affect the safety of the structural parts of the device.
• The proposed winter set of heaters and heat blocks will, of course, improve the situation, but will not be able to fully guarantee protection against breakdown. During winter operation, so-called water hammer may occur. This will lead to the “death” of the climate system and its long recovery in the future.
