If you are planning to move, repair or replace your air conditioner, then read below for step-by-step instructions on how to remove an air conditioner/split system from the wall. Before you begin, keep in mind that there are many nuances in the process. They depend on the situation, where and how the device is installed, as well as on the air conditioner model. Step 1. Take the remote control and turn on the air conditioner in cooling mode at the minimum temperature (turn on only when the outside air temperature is positive). Wait until the compressor in the outdoor unit starts. When the compressor starts, cold air will come out of the air conditioner and noise will be heard.

Step 2. Once the compressor has started, open both plugs using a wrench. They are located on the side of the block. Then pump freon inside. To do this, take a hexagon and close the tap on the thin tube until it stops (turn clockwise). After about a minute, do the same on the larger diameter tube.

Step 3. Turn off the air conditioner and install the plugs. First, apply tubes of a smaller diameter to the tap, then a larger one.

Step 4. Cut off the tubes.They're made from heat-resistant copper and lined with foam for insulation, so use tin snips.

Step 5. Disconnect the device from the power supply.

To disconnect them, cut the tubes at a distance of approximately 10 cm from the nuts towards the outdoor unit.

Step 8 Lift the block. It should rise without much effort. If not, check if you did everything correctly.

Step 9 Remove the plate from the wall. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws of the plate. Then install it back into the removed block.

Step 10 Dismantling the external unit. Unscrew the block fasteners with a wrench and remove it from the bracket. Then detach the bracket from the wall. To do this, use a ratchet wrench.
